2024 Concert Season

2024 Season theme is
“The Color of Music”

Linking tone color, timbre, & art to music!

6:30 PM – Pre-concerts by local dance schools & artists

7:00 PM – Edwardsville Symphony starts

May 26 – Concert of Orange

A mentor concert with select Edwardsville High School string students. Orange is the school color of Edwardsville School District! Principal guest conductor Dr. Megan Maddaleno. Soloist: MAGIQuartet (four guitars)

June 30 – A Concert of Red

The color of intensity so enjoy music evoking strong feelings! Guest conductor Twinda Murray. Soloist: Eddie Hitchock, tenor

July 28 – A Concert in Indigo

All the deep feelings of music! Soloist: Caitlin Hadeler, soprano

August 25 – A Concert in Yellow

This concert will be full of joy and sunlight with reflections of yellow! Soloist: S. Blake Duncan, oboe

September 22 – The Blue Concert

From feeling blue to having a blue sky. This color is fitting for our finale concert of the season! Soloist: Alexandra Billhartz, soprano
